In today’s environment, it is particularly important for organizations to have a corporate anti-virus/anti-malware policy.  These will help prevent infections cause by many types of malware including worms, Trojan horses, rootkits, spyware, key loggers, ransomware and adware.   Global Edge recommends a two-pronged approach using both an anti-virus program and an anti-malware program.  These two terms are often used interchangeably and although they sometimes overlap, each will offer better protection in different areas.
